Review of The Room (2003) by President P — 15 Apr 2013
Astonishingly bad, yet incredible at the same time. The Room puts all of Michael Bay's film to shame, yes it's really that bad. Everything is wrong, no wait that's not a good word, everything is pure garbage; acting, writing, direction, story and plot it's all garbage.
Yet, it's so perfect at the same time. This film is an incredible contradiction. In fact I'm stumped on how to describe this, you truly have to witness this film. It's both probably the worst film of all time, yet in a way, maybe one of the greatest films of all time.
The Room from start to end will simply pull you in to this indescribable world of some of the most horrid yet funniest dialogue ever, Keanu Reeves not giving a shit acting from everyone, and scenes that make no sense what so ever.
Every scene is all wrong; it's just astonishing how every scene gets so much wrong in such little time. Overly repetitive, horrid dialogue, unimaginable awful acting, and one of the worst stories ever, is just perfect.
I truly don't know how to rate this; it could easily receive a 0/5, but is so bad it's good it could easily get a 5/5. The only way to judge is to see this, seriously, it is well worth it. The Room truly deserves to be ranked as a legendary film bad or good; and is just so strange it's perfect.
For that I'll give it a 5/5.
