Review of The Room (2003) by Robert C — 21 Oct 2013
This movie really deserves one star, but it's so unintentionally hilarious and riveting I give it five. What's so amazing is how it gets absolutely, positively everything wrong. Everything from the plot, the dialogue, the acting, the directing, the editing, the music, and on and on.
Some scenes are so spectacularly bad it's hard to grasp all of it in one sitting. It gets more things wrong than one could think possible. It may even beat out "Troll 2" for its ineptness, because part of its beauty is that it takes some of the simplest, most banal scenes, and totally destroys them.
