Review of The Room (2003) by Brandonbonasera — 05 Aug 2016
Before I start off, The Room is an awful film that is painfully inept in pretty much every way possible. As a film, it would probably deserve a 0 or 1 out of 10. But as cringe worthy and as terrible as it is, the film makes for an incredibly hilarious viewing experience that all fans of cinema should experience.
A few years back I read The Disaster Artist, a book regarding the production of the film, and it is essential that one reads it; it made me appreciate the film a lot more and made later viewings of the film more enjoyable than what they already were.
In conclusion, The Room is an incredibly bad film that makes for a painful yet incredibly fun viewing experience. One of the best bad films.
