Review of The Rookie (2002) by Hank W — 03 Apr 2008
What amazed me most about this movie was that the story was presented mostly as it actually happened, with minimal fictionalization/embellishment (except for one scene). And it was an amazing story. As with most memorable baseball movies, it was not really about baseball, but about living, and realizing your dreams.
"Dreams do not vanish, so long as we do not abandon them".
