Yes, fine, cute. I read a review of 'Freedom Writers' in Empire that said that all 'inspirational teacher' biographies struck a chord with people regardless of their quality and this one seems to follow that trend.
Matthew Perry is lovely and believable and the kids are great, the story's very sweet, but it's too neatly tied up at the end. I guess it was an enjoyable enough way to spend the time.
