Review of The Ron Clark Story (2006) by Ryan C — 07 Aug 2007

Based on a true story, this is a heartwarming tale of a teacher who takes a job at one of the worst schools in one of New York City's ghettos. Heading the worst class in the school, who most others have given up on, Ron Clark has the unenviable task of getting them to pass a formidable standardized test.

But first, he has to overcome the hatred and disrespect that the kids have for him. Matthew Perry does an excellent job here, and the eventual relationships formed between him and the kids are heart-warming.
