Review of The Romantics (2010) by Iva D — 30 Jan 2011
A fairly nice movie. It skips through romantic cliches like a cricket through the grass. While it offers a nice glimpse into after college life of a close-nit group of friends it isn't very unpredictable.
I liked the ensemble cast and the indie feeling I got for it. Many compare this movie to "Rachel getting married" , to which it bears resemblance but I think it's slightly better because it relates to friendship and love in a complicated manner which they deserve.
I recommend this movie for all indie loving people with a flare for drama.
