Review of The Romantics (2010) by Elizabeth P — 30 May 2011
This was the most pointless film I have ever seen.
The thing is, you don't realize you've wasted all this time until the end.
I watched the entire thing and was actually kinda enjoying it, the cast was good and had a great chemistry(Even with Holmes) and then it gets to the end and I guess it was suppose to be deep and emotional and... artsy? Whatever.
But it just suddenly hits you.
This was just one of those films where you get dropped in the middle of this seemingly important moment in this group of peoples lives, that you have no prior knowledge of and then of course the characters clue you in here and there and your putting the pieces together but then-.
it ends. Before you get any resolution what so ever.
It reminded me of something out of a sci-fi show where they slip into a moment of time and slip out before you see the end. Yah know?
If you need to watch it for yourself go for it but I'm warning you, it's pretty pointless.
