Review of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) by Trisha J — 05 Dec 2011
Personally, this movie has probably left more influence on the american subculture than any other movie in the history of movies itself. The very begining is a little weak but from the time they get the flat tire, till the death of eddie, the film I belive is an iconic, one of akind master piece, after the death of eddie though, they should have sone something different, unpredictable but yet they had at that moment a great platform to make the movie greater than it is.
I give this movie a higher rating for a couple reasons, one ofr its true originality and the fact that a film like this can never be made again. Tim Curry's acting is un comprimising integrity and really sinking into the role, the acting by everyone else is decent, and the music is also a wonderful feature of this film, making it unique.
