Review of The Rocketeer (1991) by Julio S — 17 Feb 2008

Based on the not so well know comic book series with the same name by Dave Stevens, "The Rocketeer" is about stunt pilot named Cliff Secord (Bill Campbell) in 1938 Los Angeles who come across a jet pack that allowed him to fly.

But some gangsters are out to get the jet pack too and kidnap Cliff's girlfriend Jenny (Jennifer Connelly). The movie has it's moments, but is far from anything very rememberable. In lack of anything else, it's worth a watch.
