Review of The Rocketeer (1991) by Enrique H — 11 Apr 2009
I just sat through another viewing of this movie for the first time in probably a decade and it holds up very well and I think I liked it even more now than I did when I was younger.
If you know me you know I love these types of movies and it was a shame it didn't do so well at the box office to become the trilogy they wanted. (That's what happens when you go against 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves'!).
Maybe one day they'll re-release this on DVD or Blu-ray with a art deco-ish cover like one of the movie posters and maybe even updated special effects in some areas but I wouldn't count on it.
