Review of The Rock (1996) by Zebulon R — 13 Feb 2012
The perfect action movie. Every actor fit their role and delivered, and the story/sequences are suspenseful and frenetic. Nicolas Cage throws in the occasional tension breaking wisecrack as well. While repeated viewings water down the experience for most action movies, this is a rare exception where subsequent viewings are as good as the first.
