Review of The Rock (1996) by Ryan V — 02 May 2012
Holy crap! Michael Bay can make a genuinely good movie when he tries. Connery, Harris, and Cage all give rock solid (pun intended) performances in an action movie that is funny and just smart enough. It's just a shame that Bay has moved on to Transformers, a franchise that showcases everything wrong with summer blockbusters as they are currently peddled out.
