Review of The Rock (1996) by Eric N — 24 Jul 2015
Its taken me a long time to watch this 90's classic and they don't quite make them like this anymore. The Rock is a typic 90's action movie in every way and whilst corny and very predictable its a great watch.
Its action and explosions are more than satisfying. There are some not so welcome one-liners yet its pacing is unprecedented, its probably best as its clearly a flawed premise but is stereotypical of movies of that era.
