Review of The Robe (1953) by Jere M — 22 Apr 2011
This was an enjoyable movie of a character's journey to redemption. There is something about the historical epics of the 1950's that I really enjoy, perhaps it is a certain innocence that they have.
At any rate, this movie is well acted, well written, and a very pleasant afternoon diversion, an excellent movie for a chilly and rainy afternoon to curl up on the couch with your favorite blanket and watch.
