Review of The Roaring Twenties (1939) by Joe I — 06 Jun 2011
This is the quintessential gangster movie. My all time favourite. Because it has heart soul and music- as well as the violent backdrop. But it gives variation in it's level of hooliganism and the hero is not a saint but a likeable rogue.
Perfect in many ways and see if you recognise how many original songs came out of it.
