Review of The Road Within (2014) by Amari S — 20 Mar 2015
I want to give this 5 stars but I think that will just be because I love Rob and Dev LOL.
This movie is REALLY FRESH. As in it seems so easy (and it is easy to follow) but it's unexpectedly heartwarming in places that I didn't expect. I actually cried, but the acting I think was top notch. Zoe Kravitz is great, and I love the representations of tourettes and the OCD, and you can tell the producers did their research well. Dev's character's development was the best in the movie, because his character seemed so 'annoying', at the beginning but then you REALLY start to understand what he's going through, and I feel like that's hard to do sometimes to connect the viewer and the characters together.
I love this movie even though it can be a little predictable at times but I still feel like the story is fresh. I'm now a fan of Zoe Kravitz.
