Review of The Road to Wellville (1994) by Paul D — 17 Dec 2009
Great cast with great performances. Hopkins shows how versatile he is and I wish he would do more comedic rolls. Cusack plays a naive entrepreneur willing to do anything to make it big, and Broderick is hilarious.
The twisted storyline in the movie hits home with the fairly recent trend of natural living moving to the mainstream. I like movies that dare to try something original. The humor in Road to Welville is groundbreaking and will catch you by surprise at every twisted turn.
The perfect comedy for a thinking person who doesn't take themselves to seriously.
