Review of The Road to Guantanamo (2006) by Alvaro T — 25 Mar 2008
The director is very effective in showing the non-sequitur in this war and particularly how stranded the US are in pursuing their political strategies. Sure, it may not all be true, and it's 1 story in a few thousands, but still it's scary that the effort to make the argument is not that big: the political engagement is not as strong as in 'Welcome to Sarajevo', for example, while achieving similar (or better) results.
