Review of The Road to Guantanamo (2006) by Blind P — 08 Jul 2007
I hate the Superman character, but I wanted to check out how Singer directed this tale. Given his success with the first two X-Men films, and the slight touch that was the only quality of the third, I wondered if he could breathe life into this most boring character.
I appreciated the portrayal of disaster from the victims standpoint, convinced of impending death and in the confusion the hero darts past a window and such.
However, the whole thing was as flat and boring as the source material.

The Road To Guantanamo is a docu-drama that displays how the self-righteous can easily slip into tyrannny, and that is what I take from it.

Nacho Libre was a mistake from start to finish, and one of the worst films I've watched in a while.
