Review of The Road (2011) by Ian P — 21 Oct 2012
Out of curiosity because of the amount of buzz this movie created, I watched this horror/thriller film and found it was also a psychological movie. It was surprisingly good and very successful in keeping its watchers glued to its story until end.
Acting performances is decent. But the main strength of the movie was its story that unfolds in a series of flashbacks that will oblige you to discover the truth up to the end. This movie by Yam Laranas also has an excellent cinematography.
I highly recommend to watch this one-of-a-kind horror, thriller and psychological movie. Its one of Pinoy movies that are decently made and very well crafted.
