Review of The River Wild (1994) by Simon S — 18 Apr 2008
Bacon and Reilly make adequately creepy bad guys. Streep is great as always and takes us through a myriad of different emotions, but she really only has enough time to scrape the surface each time. Largely a by-the-numbers flick saved only by the incredible scenery and cinematography.
