Review of The Ritz (1976) by Bryan I — 29 Jan 2008
This is hysterical. A dying mobster puts the hit on his son in law who goes into hiding. What he doesn't know is he is hiding in a gay bath house. Where his old army buddy, a "chubby chaser" is also staying.
Where his brother has sent an investigator to flush him out. An investigator who the lounge singer thinks is a broadway producer and is trying to bed, though she thinks he is gay, to get her big chance on broadway.
And then there is F Murray Abraham...
