Anthony Hopkins' brilliant acting makes up for Colin O'Donoghue's wooden performance. It is not in the same vein as The Exorcist but more like an inferior version of The Exorcism of Emily Rose.
The exorcism scenes which should have been the movie's greatest asset are sadly a little dull.
