This exorcism story is neither horrifying nor interesting. Oâ??Donoghue starred in the lead role as a young priest mentoring as an exorcist under the experienced Father Lucas (played by Hopkins); however, Oâ??Donoghue appeared to be in over his head, coincidentally, not unlike his character.

Satanic stories typically scare the bejesus (pun intended) out of me, but the suspense was predictable and the horror scenes were phony and laughable. Hopkins did his best to add drama, but should never have been associated with such an amateur effort in the first place.
