Review of The Rite (1969) by Majeeda M — 10 Aug 2011
1: Ludicrous script and an awful score. The music is about as overbearing as it gets and the dialogue is hokey and overwrought. The only thing it has going for it is that it is inspired by true events.
This resulted in a tinge of interest, but all the hokum eventually lost me. Hopkins doesn't even give a good performance. Don't waste your time unless you're a die hard exorcism fan.
