Not so much a film as a regurgitation of previous movies about exorcism. Anthony Hopkins plays... a character portrayed by Anthony Hopkins. His performance is almost a caricature of all his previous roles.
On top of this, mediocre displays of acting from the other cast members and a boring plot all make for a dull waste of time with a few lame scares thrown in.
