Cryptic does not mean interesting; in this case it means plot holes the size of Jupiter. plus the visuals are completely uninspiring. Too many loose ends. Highly disappointing sequel. They discarded the cursed video tape plot, which made the first film so special; and went with a possessed-kid plot instead, which has been done in many other films.
