Very average sequel that is inferior in every way to the first installment. The story is much the same except this time the way the protagonists avoid being killed is rammed down your throat in the first scene, a scene that is utterly ridiculous.
The direction is poor, somehow the sequel manages to look far cheaper and gone are all of the subliminal scenes that made the first film frightening. The Ring Two really is a boring experience and is simply a cash in.
Not worth your time.
