Review of The Ring Two (2005) by Blake S — 03 Oct 2009
The first ring was well structured this movie is just a mess it seems like a bunch of left over ideas from the other movie are thrown in at random. It just doesn't really make sense. Maybe it explains more in the ending I wouldn't know I fell asleep 3/4 of the way through the movie but the person I was watching it with told me that I didn't really miss anything worth watching or anything that made this movie make sense.
The only reason the movie should ever be watched is for the deer scene the deer scene is hilarious. They are so fake looking and it just looks so bad. That scene is the epitome of how the second is different from the first, it is supposed to be this films equivalent of the first films horse suicide scene but it doesn't work.
The first movie everything was done well creating an vibe that even if you don't get scarred you get creeped out some, this movie gives of a vibe of boredom and unintentional comedy. Basically to create this movie they could have taken the VHS tapes of The Ring and an Evil Dead movie beat them against each other and taped the pieces together.
You would get a boring, unintentionally comical, confusing movie that most likely will not work for you.
