Arguably my favorite horror film ever. Rock solid in terms of plot, pacing, and imagery. This started to whole Asian horror remake, but none really mastered it quite the way The Ring did. Scary without being overdone, subtle without lacking.
Intelligent without being hard to understand. It completely grasped Ringu's awesome source material and translated it perfectly for American audiences without losing anything that made the original story so special.
