What a cast and what subject matter! These guys really were amazing; I love that Chuck Yeager is actually in the film and also the fact that we get to see the Test Flight and Mercury programmes from the wives point of view too. Kaufman did some pretty crazy stuff that just WORKS like casting a physical theatre troupe as the photographers. Goldblum and Shearer as the recruiters have me in stitches.
My hubby hates the bit with the fan dance at the big Texas BBQ but I kind of like it - it's a metaphor babe!
