Review of The Right Stuff (1983) by Luiz Alfredo S — 23 Apr 2012
Dennis Quaid did some great stuff early in his career. That seems to have deteriorated to garbage like "Cold Creek Manor". Too bad. At 3 hours and 13 minutes, things occasionally don't move as fast as their subjects, but even so, the parts that drag are rare and fairly short.
Depicts both the courage needed to blast one's ass into space, but also some of the arrogance and hubris that were necessary to do something so out-there, figuratively and literally.
