Wow!!! How to begin. The over the topness, the satirical elements. It's a movie which doesn't take itself seriously and doesn't want you to take it seriously either. It's escapist entertainment which completely goes over the head of most critics.
Why I hear no one talking about the awesome performance turned in by Jorge Garcia. Terry Crews.....what's to say, I love you. I could go on and on about the little things but no one wants to read all that.
Most critics go on with the opinion this is going to be a stinker that they put blinders on and pounce on anything bad they perceive to justify the sandler hate. But at least he is still giving us originality vs.
remake/reboot/redone.
