It is an awesome movie for Happy Madison Productions. You shouldn't be surprised by this movie's style given Adam Sandler's and Happy Madison Production's filmography. It is goofy; this movie doesn't take itself too seriously.
The Ridiculous 6 is a nice change in pace from some of the mean spirited, crass comedy movies out there that bank on pop culture and vulgar parodying of box office hits. Definitely an enjoyable movie with a great cast.
