Review of The Ridiculous 6 (2015) by Robert A — 25 Feb 2017

I have seen this movie...and I have three words. Fan. Fucking. Tastic. I have never thought that Adam Sandler would make such a great, great, GREAT film. I mean it is so different from his last twenty films.

Except this time...it has COWBOYS! No but seriously I absolutely loathe this movie. There is only one real reason to see this movie and it is for a baseball film that works. I mean, it's offensive but it's funny to the sense that you focus on the sport and how it "works".

Everything else though is completely garbage. Adam Sandler gives us a performance that is so dry, it looks like a farmer that has reached the ends of farming and wants to die. I'm not joking, is he depressed? Rob Shneider is playing an offensive character.

..again. I know what can be next role; being in a commercial for Donald Trump in support of the immigration crisis. That seems to be what he wants to do. All he does is play unfunny, bland, stereotypical characters that aren't even offensive anymore.

They are simply just stereotypical and he is trying to become that stereotype that cannot die. The plot is overused but then again, it is a spoof. The plot is suppose to be a western story but then again, a spoof can be really good (Aeroplane) or really shitty (every Jason Friedberg and and Aaron Seltzer movie) spoofs.

This falls into the latter. The other main/side characters aren't even worth mentioning because you literally see them in EVERY Adam Sandler movie. There is nothing new. It's like Adam Sandler had the DeLorean and went back in time with a U-Haul attached to it and filmed the same thing there.

What is really sad about this is that Jack and Jill is often refereed to as his worst film that he ever made but I happen to find that this is not just one of his worst films that he ever made, but it is the world film I have ever seen.

Worst than all the worst spoof films I have ever seen. The worst western, comedy, and Netflix original I have ever seen.
