A wonderful film. Beautifully shot, with extraordinary performances by a cast of non-actors essentially playing themselves, the movie builds gently but grippingly to its honestly earned and powerful conclusion.
A clear eyed but loving portrayal of a part of America that doesn't get much attention, "The Rider" manages to be specific and gloriously universal.
