Whoever thought this was a typical Hugh Grant movie is obviously missing the missiles. While it does contain some of the trappings of a typical witty rom-com, what is noticed by anyone paying attention is that there are innumerable subtleties that speak of much more intriguing points.

But maybe most of the critics fall into the category of jaded misogynistic men who are basing their suppositions on prejudice instead of actually watching the movie.
