Review of The Revenant (2015) by Stanislav M — 09 May 2016
"The Revenant" - the most uplifting and motivational movie of the year.
The world of no joy, no sunlight, filled with incredible unending pain and struggles with no end in sight. The only force that can temporarily bring humans back to life is not love, but hate. We receive some extra zeal to cling to life a little longer in order to get even with somebody or something that wronged us. Nothing ever goes "right" or as "planned". Whatever move you make is just a prelude to the next disaster. Without intense hate and need of revenge we slip into the void faster. Only intense hate can warm up our hearts again and make them beat longer. And when the final moment comes and the revenge is done, it brings closure. We are all revenants to some degree.
