Review of The Revenant (2015) by Grant T — 27 May 2016
I will not say that this is the most enjoyable experience I've ever had watching a film, but it is certainly one of the most incredible. Alejandro G. Inarritu captures beautiful scenery, love and loss, and most importantly, revenge.
Leonardo DiCaprio's dialogue limitations were different from his other movies, but the despair in his eyes and the determination to hunt down his enemy were truly spectacular. Tom Hardy was brilliant as well, playing the greedy and hard nosed Fitzgerald.
The revenant is an experience to be had, you won't want to miss this spectacle of a film.
