Review of The Revenant (2015) by Joseph O — 28 Aug 2017

There's a lot of great visual effects and the cinematography is absolutely incredible, as well as DiCaprio's acting. I just felt it was a little too slow for me, and that it wasn't Leo's best movie.

Maybe I'd have to see it again, I don't know. I thought it was fine, but a lot of it felt forgettable. Or maybe it was just that I didn't really want to remember some of it, I don't know.

Nevertheless, was a very beautiful film. Maybe I'm just not cut out for these types of 'survival' movies.
