Review of The Revenant (2015) by Thewhodoctor — 21 Jan 2016
The Revenant performed in ways I couldn't imagine,it was well paced for the most part, the story drove me to the edge of my seat, and it processed amazing scenery. I felt that the film had great character development as well, like I felt like I was really attached to Leos character.
we see him fight off bears and survive countless times in situations that would definitely kill a normal human being. That was a downpoint of the film because the bear attack would have paralyzed Leos character for sure, let alone him being able to walk, crawl, swim,or basic activities a person has to do to survive.
I overlooked this mistake though since it was when the main plot was introduced into the story, that this might be one of my favorite films of 2016 so far. Leos son gets murdered by Tom Hardy's character(Fitzgerald), and throughout the film,DiCaprio, struggles to survive but is influenced by revenge that he pushes through.
The only thing about this movie is that it was really great film, but its defiantly a one time watch and a MUST SEE.
