I think DiCaprio deserves the upcoming Oscar, after another well chosen role and polished performance. The acting , scenery and scope add a further dimension.
Tom Hardy also delivers a fantastic villain, to the point, you want him to pay for what he did.
As animal attacks go, the bear scene is one of the most realistic and brutal caught on film.
A very well rounded, if not slightly somber experience.
