Review of The Revenant (2015) by Jacob — 27 Feb 2016

While I appreciate all the effort that went into the visual aspect of the film Its hard to enjoy it. The characters are shallow, the wandering segment goes on too long, and the glorious tracking shots are absent.

This film will no doubt win an Oscar for its visuals and directing but unfortunately I won’t remember it much after that. Just give Leo his Oscar already so we can stop with films like this.
