Review of The Revenant (2015) by Jacob F — 15 Jan 2018
One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I don't want to watch some guy crawl on the floor for hours. The story is so boring and slow, it separates the small amounts of action drastically and even when we get some action it's done in a way that downplays it massively! And don't give me the excuse of "It's all filmed in natural light" or whatever because that handicap doesn't make it better, maybe more impressive but not better.
The only redeeming qualities of this movie are that it looks nice for a snowy wasteland and there's at least a couple decent action scenes.
