Review of The Return of the Vampire (1943) by Brendan O — 03 Oct 2010
Yeah, I see why this is regard as very, very silly, it's true potential was wasted and can be considered almost forgettable but honestly I was entertained and this was at least better made then most.
Okay, the lead Frieda Inescort could had been more compelling had they follow on this female "Van Helsing" counterpart idea, but no, fumbled the ball at the 2 yard line and the werewolf sidekick, despite the lame make-up effects was fairly interesting.
Overall this was actually stylish made and enjoyable, but not without it's obvious flaws.
