Review of The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1995) by ? Büch Dich ? — 20 Jul 2008
This movie is hilarious. It's not scary, it really shouldn't be called a Texas Chainsaw sequel because it doesn't resemble the previous sequels in the slightest. But, McConaughey plays a very interesting character and has his trademark "crazy eyes" throughout the film.
I had heard that both he and Zellweger fought to keep this from being released once they made it big. I don't blame them because it's really a shit movie they should be embarrassed of but I enjoyed it for the weird factor.
And like I said - it's funny. It's all in if you enjoy cheesy horror or true horror... I love both. You must be a fan of the genre to appreciate.
