Review of The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1995) by M D — 25 Feb 2009
The worst in the TCM series seems to try and steal ideas from the original classic. A big surprise is that this film is directed by Kim Henkel, a creator of the original movie.
Renee Zellweger gives cliched performance as a young girl caught up the hysteria on her Prom Night. Matthew McConaughey is even worse, i'm not sure he even had a script to work from. He's terrible.
