A very very funny film. Some of the best quotes of the series comes from this entry and the following one. This was a good decade after the last entry with Sellers, but both he and Blake (Director) couldn't stay away.
I am glad. While David Niven wasn't playing Charles Litton (Christopher Plummer did fantastically), this character came back to the series also, along with the diamond and the Pink Panther name. (Someone people still don't watch "shot in the dark" not knowing it was a Panther film.
