Rockin' & Rolln' Walkin' Dead romp that injected new blood into a very tired sub-genre---replete with the obligatory gruesome gut-munching effects, off-the-charts frenetic performances by Clu Gulager, the bug-eyed Don Calfa, & especially the GREAT James Karen, bountiful- booty-shaking by naked Punk-Zom Linnea Quigley, a slammin' soundtrack, and the slimily-lovable head-chomping Tar-Man! A superb mix of in-yer-face & up-yer-nose horror & hilarious over-the-top black comedy.
One of the 80's' true rare horror classics. The two ensuing sequels, while passable, do not hold a candle to this. There have also been more recent knock-offs under the "Living Dead" aegis--avoid them--!
